After an entire year investigating the drug organization responsible for at least 30 pounds of methamphetamine being distributed per month, brothers Roberto and Rafael Mondragon have been sentenced to 15 years in an Arizona prison.
Part of a family responsible for drug crimes in the Phoenix area for over twenty years, the brothers were charged with conspiracy to sell or transfer meth. The Mondragon family is accountable for drugs that have been found in as many as four states beyond Arizona.
Tempe police and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency worked together to bring down these two brothers and the arrest of 130 people in their drug-trafficking organization.
