It is reported that on Saturday, July 10, a crash took place between a 32-year-old man on a motorized bicycle and another car that has yet to be found. The suspected vehicle was either gold or gray, and is thought to be either a Ford Taurus or a Mercury Sable.
The man on the bike was traveling down Southern Avenue going east when the suspect vehicle turned left from Rural Road. After the collision, the suspect fled the scene. Their vehicle is said to be damaged on the passenger side, including a missing mirror and broken window, as well as suffering damages to the windshield.
The rider of the motorcycle was later taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Due to their fleeing of the scene, the driver of the sedan now faces even more severe penalties for participating in a hit and run. Police are currently searching for any evidence or information that might lead them to the suspected driver.
